Sear Steakhouse & Lounge in Rockwall, Texas, is hosting an intimate culinary experience called Art of the Cut, led by award-winning Chef Marcus Moehler. This exclusive, hands-on class will teach guests the craft and artistry behind expertly prepared steak, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County.
What to Expect
Each session includes a choice of 6 pounds of premium strip or ribeye from Allen Brothers, along with 2 pounds of rendered tallow to enhance flavor and technique. Under Chef Marcus’s guidance, guests will learn how to properly clean, break down, and prepare their selected cut with confidence and skill.
After the hands-on instruction, guests can choose to package their steak to take home or prepare it on-site alongside Chef Marcus for the ultimate finish. The experience also includes two complimentary Old Fashions and live music to set the mood.
There are two sessions available: The Butcher’s Table, which focuses on the fundamentals of steak butchery, and The Perfect Pair, a shared experience that includes a curated wine tasting and a romantic atmosphere.
