The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports of a heavily armed man seen walking through the Ventana Ranch area of Northwest Albuquerque on Monday, Aug. 10.
The man is described as a white male in his late 30s to early 40s wearing all-black clothing. According to reports, he has been seen wearing a ballistic vest and carrying a semi-automatic rifle slung across his body, a handgun on his hip and a large knife.
Deputies said the man has reportedly walked through the neighborhood and attempted to change or manipulate multiple residential security cameras.
Police ask residents to call 911 if they see this man in their area; do not approach him.
