As a resident of Arlington since 1985, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the city’s transformation over the years. From the north side to the south side, and now downtown, I’ve seen new parks, pools, and adventures emerge, making Arlington an exciting place to live.
Building New Businesses and Memories
Two years ago, my husband and I moved to downtown Arlington, where we’ve become engaged with the local community, particularly through the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce and the Women’s Alliance. We’ve also had the opportunity to build a new business, The Mosaic Market, which has been an exhilarating experience.
Working and living downtown has introduced us to a whole new world, where we’ve found new purpose and creative endeavors. We’ve made new friends and connections, which has been an interesting experience, especially at the age of 56.
Arlington’s downtown area is thriving, with new businesses and developments emerging. The city’s population is diverse, with a mix of ages, education levels, and racial backgrounds. According to the Census Report, the total population is 22,752, with 51% male and 49% female.
