Evan Mack, a 3-star cornerback from Southern California, announced his decision to play college football for the Arizona Wildcats on Thursday.
Recruiting Class
Mack is the third player from Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, Calif. to commit to the Wildcats in the 2027 recruiting class. He joins Crean teammates Braylen Ross and Ty Johnson, both wide receivers, in Arizona’s 2027 class, which is now at 15 commitments.
Mack, who is 6-foot-3 and 175 pounds, played his junior season at Crean. Before that, he played at Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach for his freshman and varsity sophomore seasons. During his lone varsity season with WW, Mack racked up 48 tackles, 2 for a loss, 3 picks and 17 PBUs in 14 games. Last year, his first at Crean Lutheran, he notched 49 tackles, 2 interceptions and 10 PBUs in 11 games.
Mack has 22 reported offers on the recruiting trail. He chose Arizona over Arizona State, Arkansas, BYU, California, Kansas, Miami (FL), Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington to name a few.
