Arizona head coach Rita Stubbs and her staff have secured their first pledge from the class of 2028. In-state outside hitter Nikolina Djordjevich announced her commitment to Arizona on Tuesday evening. The 6-foot-1 pin from Mesa will join the Wildcats from Mountain View High School and Arizona Storm VBC.
Djordjevich is from a volleyball family and has played on the MVHS varsity team both years of high school. She averaged 3.0 kills per set on .209 hitting in 82 sets last season. She served 0.3 aces per set and had an ace percentage of 11.4 percent.
Djordjevich is ranked the No. 31 player from the state of Arizona by Prep Dig and is rated as a three-star recruit by PrepVolleyball. She will join the Wildcats for the 2028 season, filling a key role after former No. 1 recruit Carlie Cisneros is set to graduate.
