The Arizona volleyball team is set to face a road-heavy schedule in 2026, with several tough nonconference matches on the road. The team will play 11 nonconference matches, with only three of them at home in the McKale Center.
Nonconference Schedule
The Wildcats will start their season with the Wildcat Classic from August 28-30, where they will face Prairie View A&M, Tarleton State, and UC Santa Barbara. They will then travel to Omaha, Nebraska, to participate in the Bluejay Invitational, where they will face Creighton, Tulsa, and Pepperdine.
Arizona will also travel to Southern California to take on San Diego and San Diego State, and will finish their nonconference schedule with a match against UTEP on September 22. The team will then start their Big 12 conference play on the road against Colorado on September 27.
Head coach Rita Stubbs has chosen to challenge her team with a tough schedule, despite losing several key players to graduation. The team will feature nine newcomers and an unsettled lineup, but Stubbs is confident that the tough schedule will help her team prepare for conference play.
