The Appleton Common Council has approved a new five-year contract for the Hilton Paper Valley Hotel to manage the Fox Cities Exhibition Center. The hotel had already approved the deal, and aldermen approved it Wednesday night, the city confirmed.

The contract starts on July 1 and includes options for two additional five-year renewals. This comes after the initial agreement expired on December 31, and Hilton Paper Valley continued to operate under a temporary agreement.
