High Gravity Glassworks invites the community to the opening of Andrea Barbier’s Archive of Feeling photography exhibition. The free event runs on November 13, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the gallery’s downtown location, 1120 Texas Ave, Shreveport, LA.
Barbier, a Baton Rouge‑based commercial and fine‑art photographer, presents a body of work created with the French alternative darkroom technique known as Mordançage. Over the past 25 years she has hand‑manipulated each image to explore themes of intimacy, memory, and the female experience. The exhibition showcases the unique textures and ethereal qualities that the process yields.
The opening reception is open to all ages and interests—whether you’re an art lover, a photography enthusiast, or simply curious about experimental visual art. No tickets are required; just come enjoy the show, meet the artist, and experience a distinctive slice of contemporary photography.
