The Ames International Partner Cities Association is seeking host families for a delegation of middle school students visiting this fall from Koshu City, Japan. The students are ages 14-15 and need accommodations from Thursday, Sept. 17 to Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Host Family Responsibilities
During their stay, host families will share meals, participate in activities, and help each student experience life in Ames. Interested families can fill out a form to host a student.
The city of Ames has enjoyed a partner city relationship with Koshu City for more than 30 years and has sent and received adult and youth delegations using the home-stay model.
