Travel experts have identified five destinations with low search interest that are still worth visiting. These include Aberdeen, Scotland; Redmond, Oregon; Asuncion, Paraguay; Trieste, Italy; and Bastia, Corsica. Each of these destinations offers a unique experience, from exploring historic centers to enjoying local cuisine.
The trend of seeking unique travel destinations is only getting stronger, with 43% of travelers worldwide planning to avoid overcrowded destinations. This shift is driven by a desire to avoid contributing to overtourism and to experience something new and authentic.
