American Veterans United Hosts 10Th Bbq

American Veterans United hosted its 10th annual BBQ fundraiser at ‘olołkoy Beach Park in Oxnard, California. The event, which took place at the park formerly known as Oxnard Beach Park, drew veterans from as far away as Santa Maria and Orange County.

Supporting Veterans and Their Families

The nonprofit organization assists veterans, their family members, and children entitled to benefits with their pension, compensation, survivors benefits, and education benefits. According to Frank Renteria, the AVU President, the organization operates out of San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara County, Ventura County, and Orange County, and does not charge for its services.
