Amazon has announced that Prime Day 2026 will take place from June 23 to June 26, marking a shift from its usual July schedule. This year, the event will extend to four days, providing Prime members with more time to take advantage of exclusive deals.

Traditionally a two-day event, Prime Day is Amazon’s largest shopping occasion, offering significant discounts on a wide range of products. Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime, highlighted that the event is designed to help members find deals on electronics, back-to-school items, groceries, and household essentials. This year, the excitement begins even before the official start, with offers such as $5 pizzas at Little Caesars and early screenings of the movie ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day.’

Competitive Retail Landscape

As Amazon prepares for its Prime Day, other major retailers like Walmart and Target are also planning their own sales events to coincide with this period. Target has already announced its Circle Deal Days, which will occur around the same time.

Exclusive Deals and Offers

Amazon will feature ‘Today’s Big Deals,’ with themed daily drops from top brands such as LG, Sol De Janeiro, and Levi’s. These deals will be available for a limited time each day, starting at midnight Pacific Time. Additionally, Prime members can enjoy a special offer from Little Caesars, with $5 classic large pepperoni or cheese pizzas available from June 15 to June 26, redeemable up to five times.

Membership Requirements

To access these deals, customers must have a Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year in the U.S. A free 30-day trial is also available for those who are not yet members.
