An Amazon delivery driver in Kentucky showed a meaningful gesture of respect to a military family. The driver, who was delivering a package to the family’s home in Bullitt County, took a moment to untangle the American flag on the porch and give it a salute.
A Heartfelt Moment
The family, who wishes to remain anonymous, said the gesture meant a great deal to them. The mother, Ange Burnett, stated that it was a big deal for her family, especially since her husband and two nephews have served in the military. She appreciated the simple, unexpected gesture and wants to thank the driver for their service.
The incident was captured on the family’s Ring doorbell camera, which showed the driver, dressed in camouflage pants, setting the package down and then tending to the flag. After untangling it, the driver stepped off the porch and gave the flag a salute.
