An alligator attack occurred on Sunday afternoon near the Econlockhatchee River in Seminole County, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.
Investigation Underway
Officials from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission responded to the scene. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has been dispatched to locate the alligator.
This attack is the third reported in the past seven days and the second in the past 24 hours in Central Florida.
