A deadly alligator attack in Little Big Econ State Forest has prompted a warning from a local hunter about the dangers of murky water. Officials said Brittany Clark, 31, was standing in just three feet of water when an alligator grabbed her. She died on the way to the hospital.
Warning to Visitors
The hunter shared a video showing how quickly an alligator can disappear in the water. The footage reveals a large alligator submerging itself and almost completely vanishing in murky water within seconds. Hiker Harry Austin warned people to remain vigilant and never let their guard down, especially when walking along banks with dogs or stepping into the water.
