Allentown welcomed summer with a vibrant Juneteenth celebration at Cedar Beach Park on Saturday, as the annual community event returned to mark the holiday in style.
This year’s festivities featured headliner AJ McQueen, drawing residents together for a day of live music and community spirit at one of the city’s beloved outdoor venues.
Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States, has grown into a meaningful community tradition in Allentown, and this year’s return to Cedar Beach Park continued that legacy of togetherness and celebration.
Cedar Beach Park, a longtime gathering place for Allentown families, provided a fitting backdrop for the occasion, offering open green space for attendees of all ages to come together and enjoy the festivities.
