Albuquerque Public Schools is hosting a back-to-school listening session focused on transportation and food services. The event is designed to give parents, students, and community members an opportunity to engage directly with district leadership ahead of the new school year.

The event will take place on Monday, July 27, at the Alice and Bruce King Educational Complex, 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE. It will begin at 5 p.m. with a ‘Menu Sneak Peek,’ where attendees can sample new cafeteria offerings, followed by an opportunity to tour one of the district’s new electric school buses.
Beginning at 6 p.m., the APS Board will host a facilitated community listening session centered on Food and Nutrition Services and Transportation. District officials will use feedback from the most recent student and family survey to guide the discussion and gather additional input from attendees.
Families unable to attend in person can watch the listening session live on the APS Board of Education’s YouTube channel.
