Albertsons Companies has issued a voluntary recall for products containing jalapenos due to possible salmonella contamination. The recall affects 59 store-made items following a supplier-initiated recall by Ron’s Home Style Foods.
The impacted products contain pico de gallo made with jalapenos that were recalled due to the ongoing recall involving Coast Citrus Distributors. Customers who purchased these items should not consume them and either dispose of the products or return them to the store for a refund.
The recalled products were sold at Albertson’s Market, Market Street, Amigos, and United Stores in New Mexico and Texas.
