Alabama Head Coach Kalen DeBoer was named to the Dodd Trophy Preseason Watchlist, according to a release by the University of Alabama. DeBoer is one of 20 head coaches nominated to the Preseason Watchlist, with the Dodd Trophy presented each year to the FBS football coach who embodies the three pillars of success: scholarship, leadership, and integrity.
Five other SEC head coaches join coach DeBoer on the watchlist. The full Preseason Watchlist includes coaches from various universities, such as Illinois, Louisville, and Miami.
