Quarterback Performance
Austin Mack reportedly had three touchdowns, but threw an interception on the first play. Keelon Russell threw just one touchdown and had an interception. Alabama’s defensive line caused havoc for the offensive line, making it difficult for quarterbacks to succeed early.
DeBoer stated that both quarterbacks got better as the scrimmage went on, but they could use help from other players. He emphasized the importance of starting faster in game-like scrimmages and practices.
