Aer Lingus will end direct flights from Denver to Dublin just three years after it introduced them. The airline will continue to operate the direct flight through September 28, but the flight won’t return for next year’s season.
Impact on Denver Travelers
The route strengthened connections between Denver, Ireland, and Europe. An airport spokesperson expressed disappointment and gratitude for the service provided to Colorado travelers.
Aer Lingus also is ending flights from Minneapolis and Las Vegas to Dublin, and it will convert a Seattle flight to summer-only operations. The airline gave no explanation for the change, other than to say it was “making changes to some of our flights.”
