AC Milan has named Massimo Calvelli as its new chief executive officer. The 51-year-old Calvelli replaces Giorgio Furlani, who was fired by U.S. owner RedBird Capital Partners last month.
New Leadership
Calvelli will continue to serve as CEO International at RedBird Development Group and Operating Partner at RedBird Capital Partners. A former professional tennis player, he was previously ATP CEO from 2020-25.
The mandate is clear — we will play to win, instead of playing not to lose — in everything that AC Milan touches, but most importantly on the field, said RedBird managing partner Gerry Cardinale.
