A video appears to show a Miami Shores officer firing their weapon at a man on Sunday. The man was seen running towards the officer with something in his hand. Gunshots were heard in the area.

Investigators were on the scene for hours, and a large police presence was seen along Biscayne Boulevard near Northeast 88th Street. The road remains closed.
