A semi-truck car hauler carrying several vehicles caught fire on the southbound side of Florida’s Turnpike between Palm City and Jupiter, shutting down traffic overnight.
The fire started shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday and was still burning as of 1:30 a.m. Saturday. No injuries have been reported.
Drivers traveling through the area faced significant delays before all lanes reopened Saturday morning.
