A tornado that hit the WLKY region has been upgraded to an EF-2, with wind speeds of 130 mph. The National Weather Service reported that the tornado tore through Scott and Jefferson counties in Indiana, as well as Trimble County in Kentucky, crossing the Ohio River.
Tornado Damage
Many trees were toppled, power lines were snapped, and homes were damaged in the counties hit by the EF-2. There was also an EF-1 tornado in Jackson County, Indiana, with winds up to 110 mph.
