GCP Paper USA Inc. is nearing completion on its manufacturing plant in New Caney, located within the East Montgomery County Industrial Park. The roughly 566,000-square-foot facility is estimated to cost about $38.3 million to build.

Jobs and Expansion

Around 250 jobs are expected to be needed once the manufacturing facility is complete. Construction on the plant began in June 2025. The company is also expected to open a new 450,000-square-foot warehouse in the industrial park, with construction expected to start in 2030.
