Cambridge Crossing, a master-planned community in Celina, has entered its final phase of development. The community was recently named ‘Community of the Year’ at the Dallas Builders Association’s McSam Awards, and its amenity center, Cambridge Hall, won the trophy for Best Community Amenity.
Distinctive Design and Room to Breathe
Cambridge Crossing offers a distinct look and feel, compared to other master-planned communities in North Texas. Tree-lined streets, lake view corridors, and carefully maintained green spaces create a polished and welcoming environment for residents.
Matt Alexander, developer of Cambridge Crossing and chief visionary and marketing officer at Cambridge Companies, said the community was designed with a focus on providing more space for residents. Homesites feature larger backyards than what buyers may find elsewhere, with standard lot sizes regularly offering backyards that are 25 feet deep, and some backyards extending 35 to 50 feet in depth.
Next-Level Amenities on the Horizon
This fall, Cambridge Crossing will break ground on its second amenity center, expanding the recreational and gathering spaces available to residents throughout the community. The new amenity center will feature a lake, a resort-style pool, an event lawn and amphitheater, additional tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, multipurpose rooms, and a 2,500-square-foot fitness facility.
An onsite homeowners association and full-time lifestyle director coordinate approximately 150 events each year, ranging from spring and fall festivals to sip and social hours to daddy-daughter dances to craft hour with kids, to name a few.
The community’s onsite elementary school serves as a gathering point for families with elementary-aged children. Additionally, front-yard maintenance is included for homeowners, giving residents more time to enjoy the amenities, events, and outdoor spaces throughout the neighborhood while ensuring a polished presentation of the community.
