ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — As Team USA prepares to compete at the Winter Olympics in Italy, hundreds of athletes will be supported by partners such as Raising Cane’s.

Andrew Esparza, who oversees area Cane’s restaurants, said $3 from the sale of each bobsled puppie plush will be donated to the U.S. bobsled and skeleton teams. The plush retails for $13.99 and can be purchased in restaurants or online.

Esparza noted the fundraising promotion continues through Feb. 24. The announcement comes as Raising Cane’s plans to open a new restaurant near Coors Boulevard and St. Joseph’s Drive in late February.
