A flood watch has been issued for parts of southern Oklahoma as heavy rain is expected to move in tonight. The heavy rain threat will set up after midnight in western and southwestern Oklahoma.

Chief Meteorologist Damon Lane reports that the area can expect 1 to 3 inches of rain, with some pockets of gusty winds reaching up to 40 and 50mph. Scattered showers will be present in western and northwestern Oklahoma, with a few pockets of slightly heavier rain.
The risk for severe weather will be low, but the activity will continue until mid to late morning tomorrow. Lows tonight will drop into the 60s, with temperatures warming up in the afternoon.
