Ella Langley is set to perform a sold-out show at the Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheater, with over 8,000 people expected to attend. Some fans began lining up as early as 9:30 a.m. to secure their spot.
Fans’ Enthusiasm
First-time concert attendees and original fans, including the ‘Ella Fellas,’ camped out to be the first in line. Thanks to her exploding popularity, fans are paying big bucks to be a part of the sold-out crowd. One fan, Luis Juarez from Amarillo, Texas, paid $350 for lawn tickets.
Brandon Drabek, an Oklahoma City resident and an Ella Fella, has seen Langley live 10 times. He said music is what heals him, and her music helped him through his cancer treatment. Drabek hopes to connect with Langley on stage again and perform a part of her song.
The doors to the concert open at 6 p.m., and Langley is slated to take the stage at 9 p.m. The amphitheater is reminding attendees to be vigilant about ticket scammers.
