Storms moved into the area late Wednesday night and continued into Thursday morning, causing significant damage across southern Indiana and the Louisville area.
With winds in Jefferson County reaching up to 62 mph, the storms led to street flooding, downed trees, and destroyed structures.
Damage Reports
Viewers sent in photos of the damage, including street flooding on Liverpool Lane in Beargrass Creek, a downed tree in New Albany, Indiana, and a destroyed gazebo in the Billtown Snyder area.
Flooding was also reported at the Royal Garden Apartments in Louisville, and an overturned RV was seen in Deputy, Indiana.
A barn was damaged by the storm in Midway, Indiana, and flooding occurred in Hillview and Gloria, Indiana.
