The Pella Marching Dutch will represent central Iowa this summer in the 250th national Independence Day parade in Washington, D.C. The band has been hard at work practicing for the event.
The group will perform a modernized version of ‘The Stars and Stripes Forever.’ The district said the band will also attend the National Symphony Orchestra performance and fireworks on the Capitol Lawn.
