The Waukee City Council has approved a site plan for Waypoint Resources to relocate, providing a potential solution for Dallas County’s largest food pantry as it seeks more space.
The pantry is currently located inside Westview Church in Waukee. The new site plan would add more parking to the former New Beginnings daycare building in Waukee.
Waypoint Resources has not purchased the building but said the approval makes it one step closer toward finding a space that could meet their needs.
