Sheridan County commissioners recently approved a Notice of Award for the Acquired Aircraft Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) Vehicle project. The contract was awarded to Oshkosh Airport Products, which submitted a bid of $1,051,876. This bid was below the engineer’s estimate of $1,150,000 provided by Morsomerly.

Project Details

The county’s contribution to the project is 2.5% of the total project cost. Oshkosh Airport Products met all submission requirements and is fully compliant with the bid specifications. The FAA Denver Airport District’s Office and the Wyoming Department of Transportation Aeronautics Division reviewed the bids and agreed that the Oshkosh bid is fair and reasonable.
