Tight End University Enters Sixth Year

Tight End University, a prestigious NFL offseason event, is entering its sixth year with around 90 players from the league attending. The event, which started as a text message between Greg Olsen and George Kittle in 2021, has grown to include fans for the first time this year at Vanderbilt University.

Blue-Collar Roots

According to Olsen, the tight end position’s blue-collar roots make it the perfect group for the annual training event. The position has evolved over the years, becoming more glamorous, but its grind-it-out nature remains. This mindset is what brings the players together, allowing them to bond, collaborate, and learn from each other.

Attendees participate in various activities, including film study, on-field drills, recovery, and rehabilitation. The event also features retired legends who provide invaluable opportunities for attendees to learn from the best in the game. Whether it’s a perennial All-Pro or an undrafted rookie, there’s always room for improvement, and the event aims to help players take their careers to the next level.
