The East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID) is gathering community input for a new 64-acre park in New Caney, located along FM 1485 near the intersection with Gene Campbell Road. Proposed ideas for the park include gardens, playgrounds, and walking and biking trails, but details are not finalized.
Park Plans and Survey
EMCID is collecting input on Phase 2 of the site ahead of filing an application with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department for a grant. In addition to the survey, the district also held a community meeting on May 26. The survey will be open through June 26.
