Texas Volts Pro Softball Team

The Texas Volts, a professional softball team, will play their first game in Round Rock on June 18 at 6 p.m. at Dell Diamond, located at 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m.

Pre-Game Activities

Ahead of the game, attendees can enjoy a Volts cowbell giveaway and free snow cones for the first 1,000 fans, as well as face painting, hair braiding, rock wall climbing, mechanical bull riding, games, and other activities.

The team announced its selection of Round Rock’s Dell Diamond as its home in January, as part of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League. The Volts join the six-team league that also includes the Carolina Blaze, Chicago Bandits, Oklahoma City Spark, Portland Cascade, and Utah Talons, with play beginning June 9.

According to Kim Ng, commissioner of the AUSL, ‘Texas is synonymous with softball excellence at every level, and the thousands of fans that came out to enjoy the AUSL last summer proved to us that this was a market that could support a full-time franchise.’ Ng added that ‘with a world-class venue at Dell Diamond and a fast-growing sports community, this market gives the Volts the platform to thrive and connect with fans who already live and breathe the game.’
