Sarah Gordon, a longtime newspaper photographer, is joining The Connecticut Mirror as its next staff photojournalist. Gordon will work alongside CT Mirror’s reporters and editors to develop stories and make images.
Gordon has been a newspaper photographer for more than 15 years. She comes to CT Mirror from The Day of New London, where she spent nine years as a staff photographer, working on both daily assignments and long-term projects.
Gordon has won multiple awards from the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists, the New England Newspaper & Press Association, National Press Photography and others. She grew up in New York and earned a degree in photojournalism from Boston University.
