A deputy registrar of voters notified the mayor’s office on Sunday that petition sheets submitted by at least one candidate seeking ballot access could not be located.
The mayor contacted the Connecticut Secretary of the State’s Office, the State Election Enforcement Commission, and the Hamden Police Department upon learning this information. The Hamden Police Department has opened an investigation, according to the mayor’s office.
