Singer Bonnie Tyler, 75, is no longer in a coma but remains very unwell in intensive care after undergoing emergency intestinal surgery in Portugal.
According to her official website, Tyler’s condition is improving, but it is a slow process. Her doctors are confident that she will make a good recovery, but it will take time.
Tyler’s scheduled shows through August have been canceled or postponed. However, there is still hope that her autumn shows will go ahead as planned.
Tyler is best known for her chart-topping 1980s power ballad ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart,’ written by Meat Loaf’s producer and songwriter, Jim Steinman.
