The Arkansas High track and field teams have earned 5A All-State honors, with both the girls and boys teams having at least one athlete recognized. Addison Girley, a dominant thrower for the Lady Backs, was selected for the 5A All-State team after winning state titles in the discus and shot put.
Boys Team Recognized
The Arkansas High boys team also had a strong showing, with five athletes earning all-state spots. Zephaniah Black, Daquallin Riley, Detrevion Randle, Roland Richie, and Dylan Bogard were all recognized for their outstanding performance.
In addition to Arkansas High, other local schools also had athletes earn all-state honors. Mineral Springs had several athletes recognized in 1A, including Jakayla Walker, Shamachia Stuard, and Lakarenan Ross for the girls, and Carter Steward, Jamerian Staten, and Decayveon White for the boys.
Milee Harrison and Addison Hill represented the Dierks girls in 2A, while Ben Ernest, Maclane Smith, Javion Chapman, and Jaden Chapman represented the boys. Knightley Porter represented the Spring Hill girls, and Karson Hamilton, Jaxon Smith, Jackson Putz, and Brady Rhodes represented the boys.
