Deschutes Co. Deputies Rescue Dogs from Locked Vehicle

Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office deputies rescued three dogs from a locked vehicle at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds on Saturday. The office shared two photos of the rescue on social media, reminding pet owners not to leave their animals in locked vehicles, especially as warmer weather impacts Central Oregon.

When temperatures are in the 80s, internal temperatures in vehicles can reach up to 100 degrees, posing a significant risk to pets left inside.
