Smith’s NFL Career
Smith played 10 seasons in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and was a member of the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. He was a dominant young pass rusher, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors and being named Missouri’s Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2010.
Professionally, Smith was named to the All-Rookie Team in 2011 and was an All-Pro in 2012, earning a trip to the Pro Bowl that year. He was the fastest player in league history to record his 30th career sack in just 27 games. Smith wrapped up his professional career in 2021 with a total of 185 solo tackles and 58 sacks.
