Orlando Storm quarterback Jack Plummer has been named the 2026 UFL MVP, making him the third quarterback in the history of the UFL to earn the honor. Plummer says he owes it to the team.
“While my name may be on this award, it truly belongs to so many people who have helped me along this journey. Football is the ultimate team sport, and this recognition would not have been possible without my teammates. Every practice, every game, every challenge we faced together contributed to this achievement. I am grateful to each and every one of them for their commitment, sacrifice and belief in what we could accomplish as a team,” Plummer said.
Exceptional Season
Plummer was at the helm of the Orlando Storm’s inaugural season, helping lead the team to an exceptional 8-2 finish and a No. 1 seed in the UFL playoffs. He passed for 2,188 yards and 17 touchdowns.
“Jack personifies exactly what an elite UFL quarterback should look like,” said Orlando Storm head coach Anthony Becht. “His leadership, his ability to process information and to make plays at any moment made him the most valuable player in the UFL.”
Plummer also holds a UFL record with 255 pass attempts without an interception and propelled himself into the spotlight as the Week 8 offensive player of the week after an impressive performance over the Dallas Renegades, winning the game 34-21. During that game, he threw for 238 yards and completed 24 of 36 passes.
Perhaps what made Plummer so versatile was the many ways in which he could move the offense upfield. Not only could he unleash the power of his arm to hurl the ball into the end zone, but he also used his legs to evade pressure and score himself. Plummer only had two rushing touchdowns and 189 yards this year, but both of the touchdowns came from marathon runs to the end zone.
“I also want to extend a special thank you to coach Becht. His leadership, trust and belief in me have had a tremendous impact on my development as a player and as a person. The culture he has built and the standards he sets every day have pushed all of us to be better,” Plummer said.
