The countdown is on for one of Rockwall County’s most anticipated summer events. With just one month remaining until the 3rd Annual Gone Country Music Fest, Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County is encouraging supporters to secure tickets and sponsorships now for an unforgettable evening of music, food, and community impact.
Event Details
Set for Saturday, July 18 at Tate Farms, 12992 FM 548, Gone Country – presented by Mesquite KIA – brings together live Texas country music, legendary barbecue, local vendors, raffles, and a cash bar—all benefiting Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County.
Doors open at 6 p.m. at Tate Farms, a newly renovated indoor venue located on a family-owned working horse and cattle ranch. Established in 1962 by G.L. Tate Sr., Tate Farms remains one of the last family-owned ranches in Rockwall County and provides a uniquely Texas backdrop for the evening.
This year’s entertainment lineup features headliner Ryan Berg, along with Johnny Lyons, Austin Valladarez, and Addie McLaughlin, delivering a mix of rising talent and Texas country favorites.
Supporting a Great Cause
Proceeds from Gone Country support Meals on Wheels Senior Services’ ongoing nutrition programs serving local seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Community fundraisers like this help sustain daily meal delivery services and ensure that no senior in need is placed on a waiting list for meals and support.
The event also benefits the organization’s “Welcome to the Table” capital campaign, which is funding construction of a new 22,000-square-foot Senior Life Center currently underway at 1780 Airport Road near John King Boulevard.
Once completed, the Senior Life Center will serve as a central hub for senior services in Rockwall County, helping expand meal production, strengthen programs, and further the organization’s mission of ensuring that every senior who needs a meal receives one.
Tickets, sponsorship opportunities, and raffle item donations are still available. For more information, visit rockwallmealsonwheels.org or contact Maureen Cook at [email protected] or 972-771-9514.
