Iowa Storm Damage

Thursday’s storms caused significant damage in Humeston and other parts of Wayne County, Iowa. Several homes were damaged by trees that were knocked down during the storm, and power poles and lines were also downed. The nearby NEW Cooperative had significant damage to a grain storage building.

KCCI crews in the area saw flooded property and standing water around the Mormon Trail Community School District campus. A scoreboard from the district’s athletic complex was blown through the air. The storm also caused damage to other parts of the state.
