TheAthleteCheck, a readiness and identity platform, has officially launched from Jacksonville Beach, FL. The platform was built by Division I athletes Luke Stenson and Wyatt Porch to help student athletes understand where they truly stand and prepare for what comes next.
Built from the Inside Out
TheAthleteCheck was born inside the IronMind Summer Internship Program, a high-performance environment designed around identity, leadership, and personal development. Stenson and Porch identified a gap in the current system, where student athletes often don’t have a clear picture of their academic, athletic, or personal standing, and they don’t have the tools to prepare for what comes next.
TheAthleteCheck combines digital clearance and readiness tools with a deeper identity framework, helping student athletes take stock of who they are, where they stand, and how to move forward with clarity and confidence. The platform serves three audiences: student athletes, coaches and athletic directors, and parents and families.
A Platform that Puts the Athlete First
The current system was built for administrators, not athletes. TheAthleteCheck flips that, providing a platform that puts the athlete first. With TheAthleteCheck, student athletes can get clear on their readiness status, their identity, and their preparation for what lies ahead. Coaches and athletic directors can access real-time clearance dashboards, live-approved rosters, and instant emergency contact cards. Parents and families can receive automated reminders for outstanding items and submit everything from any device, eliminating household friction that trickles down to the athlete.
