Pueblo Punishers Reach Playoffs

The Pueblo Punishers, a football team based in Pueblo, Colorado, have made it to the playoffs in their first year. For many players, this is more than just a game – it’s a second chance. The team has brought together talent from all over, including players like Noa Purcell, who played college football at CSU Pueblo, and Tevin Shipp, who had opportunities with the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts.

A Second Chance at Football

The Punishers’ success is a testament to the dedication of the players and the organization. The team is a true melting pot of talent, with players from different levels and backgrounds coming together to achieve a common goal. According to lineman Jeff Luc, the team has given players the opportunity to get film and continue playing for the love of the game.

The Punishers will host the Salina Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 in the National Arena Football League semifinals. The team’s CEO and owner, Lisa Rohrich, has been instrumental in building a close-knit culture, and her passion has helped the team find success in just their first year.
