Santa Barbara’s Anacapa Street, one of the city’s busiest streets, has received a fresh layer of asphalt. Construction crews worked at night to minimize disruptions to traffic and local businesses.
Project Details
The repaving project, which began months ago, involved paving several blocks of Anacapa Street from Cota Street to Micheltorena Street. Some side streets, including parts of Anapamu Street, also received new asphalt. The city scheduled the project to be completed in time for the Summer Solstice and Old Spanish Days events.
