AJ was born 26 weeks early and blessed his family with 10 wonderful days. He suffered a brain hemorrhage, but found peace in his mother’s embrace as he passed from her arms into the arms of Jesus.

AJ always enjoyed Dropkick Murphys’ ‘Shipping off to Boston’ in his mother’s car rides and held on in the hospital until his father could finish reading him ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’. As his father would read to him, he would always stabilize and made what his father called ‘his little squeaky noises’.

AJ is survived by his parents James Robert Leibold and Jaime Leigh (Bernhardt) Leibold, Pomona, Kansas; siblings Jay Leibold and Gwen Leibold, Pomona, Kansas; grandparents Jim and Teresa Leibold, Newhall, Iowa; and Richard and Marla Bernhardt, Spring Hill, Kansas.
